Barauni Thermal Power Plant powering ethanol plant in Barauni, India aims to decarbonize and reduce its emissions to comply with Pollution Control Board Laws. The coal fired power plant produces SOx, NOx, and CO2 as its pollutants. n0c tech, Inc, a deeptech startup based out of California, USA and Delhi, India, builds patented, low cost & compact carbon capture plant for industrial emitters to capture their emissions and works with multiple industrial companies to decarbonize.
The feasibility study work was awarded by the power plant to n0c tech, to conduct feasibility assessments and installation of n0c tech carbon capture unit at the coal fired boiler site. The power plant got its new carbon capture unit and is reducing its emissions.
Ajay Singh, Managing Director of Power Plant & Ethanol Plant said “We are working on reducing our emissions – SOx, NOx, CO2, to reach net zero emissions. n0c tech carbon capture unit takes very less space on-site and costs less per metric tons of CO2 captured. We aim to reach our decarbonization goals as planned.”
Sidhant Kumar, Founder & CEO of n0c tech Inc said “Decarboization is a common mission of industries worldwide, and we help them reach their carbon emission reduction targets at lowest possible CapEx and OpEx.”
